Bite-size

A friend is ill.
She has to go for a camp though.
She will probably think she did a poor job.
I think she expects too much of herself.
I hope she recovers soon.

Two other friends have become the perfect couple.
Details are hushed, but they are pretty close.
And they do not seem to mind the rumours.
I am guessing they are together.
That would be wonderful.

A boy told a girl he liked her.
I think she rejected him,
But she never said "no."
I feel tremendously lost.
What should my next step be?
